We continue to study one of the classic problems in general topology raised by P. S. Alexandrov: when a Hausdorff space X has continuous bijection (a condensation) onto compactum? concentrate on situation not only but also $$X\setminus Y$$ can be condensed compactum whenever cardinality Y does exceed certain $$\tau$$ .

A general combinatorial theorem for countably compact, noncompact spaces is given under the Proper Forcing Axiom. It follows that compact Hausdorff spaces of countable tightness are sequential under PFA, solving the Moore-Mrowka Problem. Other applications are also given.

We investigate two notions for the intensity of attractors for closed relations on compact Hausdorff spaces. Properties of attractors and corresponding attractor blocks are studied, and we show that certain systems of neighborhoods of relations can be used to describe how strongly an attractor attracts its surroundings.
